Ipoh Trip Day 2

Started our day with a bowl of Ban Mian and not forgetting the ipoh white coffee. LOL!

Collected our goodies that we had ordered yesterday and buying more goodies to bring back to singapore. Headed to shopping mall after that to stock up a bit of our daily necessaries.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS - WE ARE COMING!!

Yes! Drove up to cameron highlands and stayed there till late and have steamboat for dinner. IT'S A PERFECT dinner choice at cameron highlands. Temperature went down when sunset, to 20 degree Celsius! I LIKE THE WEATHER THERE! <33 My acne problems will be solved if i was to stay there for a month? LOL!  Many strawberry farm there, some are really small. We drove further up till we reached lavender garden which seems big. 5RM per entry. It's really a nice place!
THE FRESH STRAWBERRY JUCIE!

Watch those video i uploaded using instagram! =DD The kids made this trip even more enjoyable. LOL
Steamboat dinner!

After steamboat, we went for supper! =DD HAHHAHAHA! EAT AND EAT AND EAT!

Ipoh Trip Day 1

Upon meeting up with JJ, we headed to Foh San Restaurant for our breakfast dim sum! Foh San vs Ming Court - both the famous dim sum shop in ipoh right oppsite each other. Nice food provided, it only cost us around 20SGD for a meal for four! I like!

Headed to some mountain cave temple after breakfast! So we went to Pi Li Tong and Taman Rekreasi! Guess this is something new to us. Cave temple and a place to look at awesome scenery! <3

Meet up with another friend whom drove all the way from JB up to Ipoh with his family! Meal together at some coffeeshop which is quite famous for their ipoh white coffee. I love their kids! So cute can! Photos of them will be up on blog soon~ LOL! After meal, we went to try their famous beancurd/ soay milk from a stall named funny mountain. Ordered while in car, eat in car and they will collect from you after you have finished. HAHAHA! A smooth and silky beancurd. I LIKE!

Ah San our friend, being the Funny Mountain's 代言人!LOL! GOOD!

We went to another cave temple named Ji Le Tong. It's so windy there with an awesome view of the sunny day while enjoying the wind and being sheltered in the cave. LOL!

After visiting the caves, IT'S TIME TO EAT AGAIN! 4TH meals of the day! LO! Tried their asam laska and fried durians! I LIKE THEIR FRIED DURIANS, IS REAL DURIANS, not like S'pore kind which only gave the flavouring. This is with texture, smell and the flavoring which cost only 2rm for one!

Oh, did i mention that we are staying at JJ house for this trip? LOL! Yes! We are going to stay over in his house. He said he lived in kampong which means this is my FIRST time staying in a kampong. LOL! Upon reaching his house, we choose our room and put down our things. Something i like about msian, they are really different from Singaporean. They simply treat it like their own house. One went shower, another one went to boil water so on and so forth. LOL! I really enjoyed staying with them, they treated you really like a family instead of an outsider. HAHAHA! A lot of new experiences in this trip, showering w/o the shower head, using water to pour on ourselves is the way of showering, having a kitchen which is much bigger than my own room in Singapore and last but not least, sleeping in the night w/o a need to lock the door, AS IN THE MAIN DOOR. WOW~!

Dinner at Lou Wong Restoran for their famous beansprout chicken rice. I think i preferred Singapore's chicken rice. HAHAHHA! The chicken was not really that tender as what others have described, beansprouts was a little too raw. Nothing much special actually. LOL! But still, anything with CHICKEN, i'll still love it! Being known as 鸡王 during this trip. LOL!

Dessert @ Tang Shui Jie (i gussed). With the courtesy of JJ's gf who brought us for dinner and dessert as JJ have something on. Though, we didn't have much conversation. But i can tell, she is a nice person. =D

I've another meal of my own for supper- KFC from ipoh. LOL! Trying to compare MELAKA OR IPOH KFC. LOL!

The day to Ipoh

The day to ipoh is also the day for William's farewell party. I was wondering if i should go for the dinner with my BIG HUGE backpack for my 3D2N trip to ipoh or should i just give it a miss. Feeling the lack sincerity, i decided to go for the dinner no matter what. LOL! Kind of careful while eating, im afraid i need toilet later on, avoided tea & coffee due to their diuretic effect. WE HAD OUR DINNER AT NANA THAI REST @FAR EAST. Foods there was delicious but yet is a little bit pricey. LOL! I LOST MY EZ-LINK before going to malaysia. daamnnnn~ MONEY FLY AWAY~~

Headed to meet Yvonne after dinner while waiting for ming at Chinatown, we made our way to golden mile tower! On a Thursday late night, i'm sitting outside golden mile tower with ming and yvonne waiting for our STARMART bus. 12mn at golden mile! MY FIRST TIME~! HAHHAHA! I'm ready for that 8hrs bus ride! Exciteddddd~ Toilet break was provided, something tat i've been looking forward to during the bus ride.

Reached Ipoh around 7+ in the morning! YAY! Calling our friend JJ to pick us up. He's damn cool can! W/o us calling, he is already at the bus terminal waiting for us! Having us missed our stop bcos the driver didnt tell us that Medan Gopeng bus terminal was closed and we have to tell him where we wanted him to drop us if not he will just drop us at their "selling ticket place". So our this dear friend, he have to drive behind the bus and see where the bus driver decided to drop us at. LOL! Basically, he was catching behind the bus and he was so glad that the bus driver was driving so slow that he still have the time to go to his car while he was already at gopeng bus terminal. LOL!

Clear blue sky greeted us at ipoh! =DD

Malacca day 2

Wake up the morning~
Had our breakfast in the hotel - breakfast included in package of the room. It's the buffet style breakfast. Quite a number of varieties available, i made bread for the rest and they got me scramble eggs. LOL! Their fried rice was delicious as well as the wedges. Top up of food was rather fast. Didnt have any photo of the foods - TOO HUNGRY AND CAN'T WAIT TO EAT! LOL! I think 8 diff types of bread and puffs was available. As well as cereal and milk, coffee, tea and plain water, baked beans, hotdogs, mushrooms soup, baked egg moist cake/bread? Lol! A LOT RIGHT?! AWESOME BREAKFAST!

After breakfast, took some photos in the hotel with their Nonya theme and went back up to hotel room to pack our stuff. WE ARE READY to check out! Putting our belongings at the lobby with the staff and there we go to their famous attraction which is the red house. LOL!

A VERY SUNNY DAY and while we are otw to the red house, we see the LONG Q outside the Chung Wah chicken rice stall, so we decided to join in the Q and try their famous chicken rice ball? LOL! Waited for almost an hr, we are burned under the hot sun. LOL! Ordered 1 whole chicken and was served with 5 rice ball each. Serene appreciated the rice ball very much, but YL dislike it very much. LOL!

Due to the hot weather, we decided to go back to hotel for some aircon before going back to makota parade for Serene's cosmetic. Cab there became our conclusion. LOL! We had to walk out to the red house there to catch a taxi which cost us 15rm from there to Mahkota Parade. I guess 10rm is more than enough actually! $7 SGD- DAMN! SUA! THE HOT SUN ARE MAKING US FRUSTRATED. So we agreed for that. Shop for a little while, and grabbed some foods for the later bus ride. Cab back to Sentral bus terminal and IT'S TIME TO GO BACK SINGAPORE!

Shall end my post with the BEST PHOTO OF THE TRIP!

Malacca trip with Besties! - Day 1

Been and back from Malacca ytd, it was rather a very slow pace overseas trip for us. All of us woke up very early to catch the bus at Golden Mile @ 0830hrs, we took starmart express. I read lots of reviews about them and it really sound scary! ANYWAY, IT MY FIRST TIME TAKING COACH TO OVERSEAS! But i do like the experience of taking starmart. Upon reaching Golden Mile, after collecting our tickets, bus came. However, bus took quite long to depart, not sure is it because someone was late or whatsoever, departed from golden mile only at 9+.

Bus driver was a very polite man, he gave instruction when reached custom, for like when to bring only passport down and when to bring all our belongings down. I like the bus that we took from SG to Malacca! The whole bus only have 8 passengers including 4 of us! It's like we booked the whole bus! LOL!

Reached Malacca Sentral Bus terminal at around 12+ to 1pm! Excited and hungry! LOL! Got into one of the coffeeshop and start ordering the foods - PHOTOS DOES DECEIVE! It look like they are going to serve us  pretty appetizing and big portion foods. However! This is what we got! =.=" And it taste rather meh.

Brought a sim card at the digi shop there. Cost us around $20.80RM with FREE GIFTS OF EARPIECE! Actually when we draw the lucky draw box, what i got was a shampoo and jessie got a comb. Upon seeing it, all of us burst into laughter and in fact, we like the shampoo very much bcos we didnt brought it with us. BUT WE LIKE EARPIECE MORE! THANKS DIGI STAFFS! <3

Cab to Hotel Puri @ 20RM -  I've made a reservation online and i actually thought that they will deduct it from my mastercard. However, upon reaching there, they asked if we want to to pay by cash? AND OF COS! WE WANT! 1 SGD = 2.5RM, if we were to use mastercard the exchange rate is only 2.2! NO WAY! LOL! Anyway check in time was only after 3pm so we decided to leave our belongings with them and go for our shopping at mahkota parade. We thought it VERY NEARBY, but i guess it took us around 20 to 30mins to walk there, rather far actually. LOL! Serene bought lots of cosmetics - CHEAP! LOL!

We had KFC for our teabreak, always heard others saying that KFC in MSIA is pretty awesome with the tender chicken from kampong. LOL! Ehh. I do quite like their chicken but not the skin, not as nice as Singapore's. LOL!

Walked back to hotel and check-in. Rested in hotel using their WIFI, rather slow but better than nothing? LOL! Waited till 6pm, we rushed down to the jonker street WHICH is like 2mins WALk from hotel! I LIKE!!! lots of foods there! SOOO MANY STUFFS, LIKE PALSAR MALAM. Once again, i'm hungry and craving for foods - had their popiah, not nice =(, had their oyster egg, like the taste but not crispy enough but CHEAP! ONLY 5RM! LOLOL! Had their otah - rather dry, taste alright. Had their carrot cake - rather moist as compared to Singapore's. Had lok lok for the first time- NICE, I LIKE! Wanted to try their cha sao su but didnt bought it. Dono what was i thinking back then. =((

Lok Lok and the boss

Ended the day with us in hotel playing monopoly deal with more food and hotel puri's complimentary drinks! =PP

10jeom manjeome 10jeom!

10jeom manjeome 10jeom - 2PM VERSION
ShinJiooo ManJiooo De Shinjiooo~ - Guigui's version!

Lolol! If you have no idea what does the above two sentences means, do watch Global We Got Married - Guigui and Taecyeon.

This couple makes you laugh non stop, seeing how they give in to each other, NO ROMANTIC FEEL BUT FUNNY REALLY! Ehh, i've the same thoughts as Taecyeon's about Gui keeping asking him to buy stuffs for her. Other than that, Gui is really a fun person maybe childish at times. But you can really feel gui over the computer screen. Whereas, Taecyeon, you will have no idea what really in his mind. Is he just being sweet just because of the show or was he really touched by Gui? BUT THE YES/NO game he really mind a lot. LOL!

Gui is changing him bit by bit. LOL! They made a perfect couple if they are real couple with no nationality, language and work barrier. Pretty & handsome. Energetic, playful, clumsy girl with talented, willing to give in, neat and sweet guy. Aren't they just match? LOL! Worth my time watching WGM of them. I LIKE!

Dim Sum @ Ju Chun Yuan $19.80+

I had my Dim Sum Lunch Buffet @ Ju Chun Yuan - Far East Square. S19.80+ used to be $18+ when i first knew about Ju Chun Yuan. IM SO KEEN TO HAVE MEAL THERE THAT I called to make reservations LIKE TWO DAYS BEFORE?! HAHAHAHA! It's a "HOT" place to have dim sum (as in it's always full). Do reach there around 1130am when they just opened- food are more fresh and there are more varieties available. If you were to reach there at 1pm, some dishes might be out of stock! =DD

Very nice place! Somewhere you would love to held some small gathering at!

THREE OF US! MY FRIENDS AND I! WE HAD ALMOST 30 PLATES OF FOOD! OMG! Guess our previous incarnation = pigs! LOL! I was so full that i think i'll vomit anytime! I REALLY LIKE THE steamed rice noodles roll w bbq pork! <3 Their char sao su was awesome as well! Didnt try their porridge, i was thinking if i was to order the porridge, i won't be able to eat so much on other stuff. LOL!

Took some pics of the dimsum

I'm nice okay! i took a photo of their menu - dishes available for the buffet!

Hair colouring @ Creatif Hair Group (Deals.com's deals)

I bought this deals from deals.com! i thought it will be rather worth it since it is FOR ALL HAIR LENGTH! =DD $38 for hair colour! WORTH WORTH WORTH!
Making of appt is easy. I like!
I felt really excited to get my new hair colour! I've black roots growing out! Upon reaching there (walking distance from boon keng mrt exit A, thanks to streetdirectory, i managed to find the place very easily!), I REALIZED its a very neighborhood place. Like lots of shops under the block of flats. And i walked down the stretch of shops, i found creatif hair group! LOL! A SALON with 3 seats! :O << MY REACTION
Kind of awkward, the shop is little bit too small and by common sense door shld be pull instead of push when going in in a small area, however, their door is designed in another way. LOL! Video of the shop

Appt should be at 3pm but i guess i waited till 3.30pm, only two hairstylist available. But they are nice, at least they did entertain me, lead me to the seat, put a towel on my shoulder and gave me a book to choose my hair colour. Magazines are also available.

As usual, when you buy something from deals, you need to prepare to top up on either the treatment or something else definitely on something. And of course you can choose not to. Since i've alrdy prepared that top up is a need, $25 more for the colour lock solution i think shld be fine. Ehh, the hairstylist arent pushy at all. I LIKE!

DA RANG! I've my hair done in an hr plus time! i like the colour BUT I'VE TWO TONE NOW! Damn! My hair roots colour was much darker, i can't imagine if my black roots grow out, i'll have three tones! HAHAHHA!!

SAW IT?! LOL! kk, i think im kind of retarded to take a photo while walking back to mrt! LOL
NICE BROWN RIGHT?! IKR! HAHAHA!

Ohya! Almost forgot! I took a picture of the lanterns at Chinatown when i was walking on the bridge! Once again, i've no idea why i will take such a photo, perhaps it's because of the atmosphere that made me do it! LOL! Every few steps u walked, you will see someone taking photo on the bridge. SO I GUESS THAT'S THE REASON WHY I TOOK THIS PHOTO! SO COLOURFUL! <33

Dim Sum @ Victor Kitchen , Korean BBQ @ StarKing

Meet up with Ming and Yvonne early in the morning at 10.30am at Bugis Mrt, planning to have our breakfast at Sunshine Plaza Victor's Kitchen which opens at 10.30am. Reaching there at 11am, the place was already packed with people and we have to Q outside!

DIM SUM @ VICTOR KITCHEN - SUNSHINE PLAZA
Table for 2 is easy. TABLE FOR THREE! FAT HOPE! WAIT. WAIT. WAIT. This is all we get and we have waited for almost an hr! Finally, they got us a table for three at 11.45am! Varieties of food was very limited. Serving of food was really chaos. The place was so packed, space for walking was so limited that the server have to pass the food down from the front and get to us. Sitting all the way in and getting out from there was really hard. People who sat beside you have to stand up and give you space to move. Waiting time for food was fast, however not complete. Food that we ordered was not served, food that we didnt ordered came, trying our best to get their attention to tell them that we DIDN'T ORDER THAT was NOT EASY! Server claimed that we ordered it, OH PLS. PLS AT LEAST MAKE AN EFFORT TO CHECK THE ORDER. Carrot cake that seems to be their signature dish didnt come even though we tried to "remind" them. It's doesnt work.
The Menu

Believed the boss have tried his best to get everyone what they have ordered, but it's just too chaos and there is really nothing the boss can actually do. I like one of the server, she is really patience and nice. When we raise our hand to get their attention, she approached us with a smile and asked what food was missed out? hahahah! Seems like she knows what's going on very well. LASTLY! I WOULD LIKE TO COMPLIMENT THEIR LAVA BUN AKA SALTED EGG YOLK CUSTARD BUN, IT'S REALLY REALLY VERY DELICIOUS!

KOREAN BBQ @ STAR KING - TANJONG PAGAR
We had our dinner at star king tanjong pagar at ONLY $23NETT with free flow of icecream and soft drinks! However, i felt a little pressurize by the boss upon stepping into the shop. Just wanted to take a look on what they have, and non-stop promoting their dishes to us till we finally sit down. LOL!

As usual- korean bbq = meat feast. LOL! It's really well marinated, very delicious. i like the pork collar, very juicy really. Icecream was awesome too. COOKIES & CREAM! and total of 4 different flavour available. =DD
With this electric stove, less smoke, less oily. You smell better when u walked out of the shop. LOL

However, Boss will be there looking at you taking, cooking the meat, at times, she will even teach you how to cut the meat. "Over-service" i think. LOL, nevertheless, she is friendly and nice la!

SHOULD I BUY CAMERA?!

Found a chio chio camera named SONY NEX 3N! It's really pretty, with a tilt-able screen, interchangeable lens and good sensor, however, it cost 749SGD! OMGGG! SOOOO EX CANN! Though i've been working for the past one year, i still couldnt bring myself to buy such an expensive camera. Knowing that i am not a person who is photogenic, not a person who carried camera out every time.

749SGD! I could have bought an Ipad mini and something else with it! SERIOUSLY!
Went to COMEX 2013, hoping to find this chio chio camera at a cheap price. However, SONY WAS NOT INVOLVED IN THIS COMEX! AHhh shucks. IKR!

SAW THIS PRETTY AWESOME DEAL AT COMEX 2013! NIKON J2 AT ONLY $399!! OMGGG! I went there on sat and it's really sad. ALMOST ALL ARE OOS! Nikon J2 compared to Sony Nex 3n! Almost half of the price with a small sensor, fixed screen and older. AHH!

Nikon J2
Sony nex 3n
