Happy New Year

Hihi! Happy New Year! I know I was a bit late for the wishes. Hahah! Nevertheless I'm still here to update my blog.

Alright~ Xmas is over. Celebration? Yes, we did a gift exchange only after Xmas! Hahahah! Meet up w besties at Westgate/Jem for dinner! And we said that it's our last grp outing of the year 2013. Sound sad uh. Out of a sudden it's all became "last outing, last meal and etc" LOL. 

What I did for New year countdown. Usually, I'll stay home with parents and we had our countdown done by watching tv? LOL. But this time round my friend asked me out for a dinner and actually I thought oh well, just a dinner. Ended up at her house for countdown. Rather slience countdown but at least kept her company before any of her family members reached home.

Me: huh! (At the same time, telling my friend what my cousin said) But my friend said, that only meant to ppl who have eyes contact at 12 sharp.

Cousin: Oh no! I was looking at mirror just now!

Finally~

Finally! We managed to watch 3 peas in a pod! It's like only left with three cinemas still showing?! Which cause YS and I have to travel all the way to tampines to catch the movie?! LOL! Srly! we made a lot of effort trying to watch this movie, both of us are just SO busy that we couldnt even get a common time. My off yesterday and her class only start at 3pm. And we watched 1020 show!! CAN U BELIEVE?! 10.20AM!? Which means i actually left home at 9am?! But still i'm late, and YS have to wait for me.
Indeed a twist in the story plot but i guess i'm just plain stupid to actually get the meaning of the movie. A little spoiler here: Which means Perry is gay? And Peter too? LOL! So Perry and Peter are gay and they like each other and just that they are afraid that one of them actually like Penny?

The one who always wait for me when i'm late. Sorry >.<

Teppanyaki Express

Basically i stayed out the whole day! After movie and lunch went to find ming for tea break. And i'm like loitering around from 5 to 7pm? Supposed to meet Suet Min at 6pm and she was late for like AN HR ++ ?! I DONT LIKE people who are late for more than an hr! My max waiting time is 1 hr and that's it! Actually, i am kind of pissed off but think to the point that she is late due to her work and not like she overslept or what. So she is forgiven. LOL. And i learnt something from her. There is this "stationary shop" named TYPO. Srsly! Been to somerset for numerous times but had yet to realise this shop existence. Ooops.

The one who made me waited for more than an hr. LOL. Ehh~ why my eyes one big one small? =((

Swimming After YEARS!

I've not been to swimming pool for a swim like YEARS! Yes. YEARS!

Went to mediacorp with mum to collect the voucher that she had won previously and i headed to EXPO for SITEX Show. Wanted to see if i'm able to find a cheap and worth camera, preferably Nikon. But... they are only selling J3. =.=" Where's the J1 or J2 that only cost $399 at the previous IT fair?! =(( I left SITEX show empty handed after travelling so far for. LOL!

Went home to take my swimming stuffs and meet up w Suet Min and Jess. There we go for a swim, wearing the swimming suit which i last wore at the aged of 15? LOL! But seems like swimming suit does not have trend so it don't get outdated. I LIKE! =DD

A busy day~

It's my friend birthday and we decided to surprise her! We decided to have this small little colleagues gathering since months ago? LOL! And so we met up! Birthday girl was late and thanks for her being late, we have time to buy cake and decide on where to eat for lunch!

Conclusion - We ate in Eighteen Chef at Tiong and we got the Polar cake. Finding HALAL cake is not easy. I like the service by them, we actually requested to put our cake in their fridge and after our meal i thought they don't provide the service of bringing the cake to us. So i thought i will be the one holding the cake. But when i went to the counter and approach the staff, they are so nice, they offer to bring the cake there for me and even asked if we want birthday song to be played. And OF COS, things went on smoothly. =))

After celebration, went to find Ming for tea as promised weeks ago? LOL! At least i made an effort to squeeze out some time for meet up. A day that I've scheduled myself for.

After meeting Ming, i rushed to JP to catch "Catching Fire" with Jess. Still got part three..  Oh noooooo~ i'm gonna wait for it again! HAHAHAH! Dinner at JP, eating my favourite mini tom yam steamboat! <3

Dinner at Cuppage

Met up with poly clique! =DD And we decided to have dinner at the Japanese Ramen Stall, eh forget what's the stall name. Hehhes. The Char Siew rice was really awesome. And as usual, i'm not a fan of noodles so the ramen didn't attracts me. But i ordered a set which consists of ramen and rice. So i got to try both of it. Thumbs up for the rice! =DD Clique is incomplete w/o Esther & Miao~

Yes! Back to marina barrage again with different people! Kite session this time round! WE HAVE A LOT OF FUN LIKE SRSLY! We decided to have picnic still, i've brought along hotdogs and fries, sandwiches by Jess, Sushi by Ser, drinks and snacks by Ming and Yvonne. =DD

I got my kite from my bro! This is my first time flying kite - i've no idea how to do it? how to open it? and even the basic logic of flying kite. To go against the wind or to follow the wind?! LOL! All we did was, eat, sit and observe how people fly kite. It's DOES work okayy! LOL! And the most funniest thing was while eating, we have been there laughing at some people who didn't manage to have their kite fly up high, WHEN OURS CAN'T EVEN FLY! LOLOL!

It was drizzling the whole day but yet the crowd was still WOW! Had dinner at Satay By the Bay. Just a "atas" hawker centre with expensive foods which i don't find worth it at all! LOL!

OFF DAY! I'M LOVING IT~ hahahahha! Looking for cheap western? Alright with hawker? SO THIS IS THE PLACE! HAHAHAHAH! CLEMENTI HAWKER CENTRE!! =DD Chicken chop for only $4.50?! as well as chicken cutlet, pork chop and fish and chip. LOL! Food portion was alright for a full meal and taste wise was good too. I'll definitely be back again!

K session after meal. Kbox promotion of $11 for 3hrs of singing for their 11th Anniversary. How i wish they are only 1 yrs old. WHICH MEANS $1 for 3hrs of singing?! hahahahah! Fat hope. Yes. i know. LOL!

Relaxing at Marina Barrage!

It was an impromptu decision to have picnic at marina barrage. We've only came into this decision like a day before? LOL. And the best thing is - I'm on night on sat and we are meeting at 11am on sunday! LOL!

Dad and mum pick me up after my work and we went for breakfast at Ghim Moh Market. WAHH! A LOT OF AWESOME FOOD CANN, i wished i stayed nearby. Hhahahhaa! After eating, went to wet market to buy some fruits. I'm in charged to bring fruits for the picnic. HEHEHEHS!

HOME - SHOWER - CUT FRUITS - PREPARE - LEAVE HOME.

It's my first time having picnic and i enjoyed it. =P We got ourselves a perfect spot with shelter as rain happened to pass by and we are perfectly dry? LOL! And what spoiled our day was actually the cleaner i supposed? He was wearing orange and he clear rubbish in the bin and i supposed he works as a cleaner?

Incident  - Wind get stronger, tissues flying around- BUT NOT OURS, as it's obvious that the tissues was "wet tissue material" and NONE of us has brought any wet tissue along. And this man walked to us and said "风很大，你们的tissue飞到那里，帮帮忙". Upon hearing that, we looked up at him and we wanted to say that the tissue don't belongs to us, however, before we could even open our mouth, he said: "是你们的啦，没有人料“。 SERIOUSLY! We are not upset because he asked us to pick up the rubbish, we are upset by what he had accused us on. WE DON'T LITTER!

Nevertheless, being good citizens, keeping the environment clean, we did pick it up. LOL. But somehow i do understand why he will have this kind of mindset, i'll explain in details - At around 2 plus? Crowd came, and true enough, wind blow plastic bags and tissues all around and people don't even bother to get it back. =(

It's been really long since we last meet up. Way before my birthday i guess? LOL! My colleagues recommended a place at Busoorah St, telling me that food and cafe over there was pretty awesome. So three of us decided to give there a visit. Never did i know that Busoorah St is somewhere at Haji Lane and also kampong glam!

Wanted to give this cafe named "I AM" a try, but the cafe was little bit too small and was very packed. Googled a little and wanted to go to another cafe named "Eat.Play.love". We managed to find our way there and =.=" The cafe was closed for private event. FML.

Back to Busoorah St and walking pass this Swedish cafe named "Fika". So we decided to have dinner there. The whole bill came up to $100+! OMG! LOLOL! Food presentation and the taste wise was okay. Quite nice actually.

Not forgetting this grilled pork from Bugis Junction which cost me $3.50 for 3 sticks! Although it's fattening but is freaking nice! OMGGGG! I bought it at the food street from the korean stall. IT'S WOW!!

I'm back to work!

I'm back to work after my 18 days of leave! The first few days i just couldn't adapt to it and was looking forward for my off days. LOL! After 18 days is like after 18 yrs for me! LOL! I've forgotten most of my job scopes even some small little things that i've been doing for the past few months . LOL! With the help of my colleagues, i'm back to my standard of care now. HAHAHAH!

Oh yes! This is kind of sudden! I was away for 18 days. However i was being nominated as the STAFF OF THE MONTH! hahahhaha! Never had i thought of it! I guess they compiled with my august compliments? I'M SO HAPPY! =PP At least my hard work was being recognized.

Ipoh Trip Day 2

Started our day with a bowl of Ban Mian and not forgetting the ipoh white coffee. LOL!

Collected our goodies that we had ordered yesterday and buying more goodies to bring back to singapore. Headed to shopping mall after that to stock up a bit of our daily necessaries.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS - WE ARE COMING!!

Yes! Drove up to cameron highlands and stayed there till late and have steamboat for dinner. IT'S A PERFECT dinner choice at cameron highlands. Temperature went down when sunset, to 20 degree Celsius! I LIKE THE WEATHER THERE! <33 My acne problems will be solved if i was to stay there for a month? LOL!  Many strawberry farm there, some are really small. We drove further up till we reached lavender garden which seems big. 5RM per entry. It's really a nice place!

After steamboat, we went for supper! =DD HAHHAHAHA! EAT AND EAT AND EAT!

Ipoh Trip Day 1

Upon meeting up with JJ, we headed to Foh San Restaurant for our breakfast dim sum! Foh San vs Ming Court - both the famous dim sum shop in ipoh right oppsite each other. Nice food provided, it only cost us around 20SGD for a meal for four! I like!

Headed to some mountain cave temple after breakfast! So we went to Pi Li Tong and Taman Rekreasi! Guess this is something new to us. Cave temple and a place to look at awesome scenery! <3

Meet up with another friend whom drove all the way from JB up to Ipoh with his family! Meal together at some coffeeshop which is quite famous for their ipoh white coffee. I love their kids! So cute can! Photos of them will be up on blog soon~ LOL! After meal, we went to try their famous beancurd/ soay milk from a stall named funny mountain. Ordered while in car, eat in car and they will collect from you after you have finished. HAHAHA! A smooth and silky beancurd. I LIKE!

We went to another cave temple named Ji Le Tong. It's so windy there with an awesome view of the sunny day while enjoying the wind and being sheltered in the cave. LOL! 

After visiting the caves, IT'S TIME TO EAT AGAIN! 4TH meals of the day! LO! Tried their asam laska and fried durians! I LIKE THEIR FRIED DURIANS, IS REAL DURIANS, not like S'pore kind which only gave the flavouring. This is with texture, smell and the flavoring which cost only 2rm for one!

Oh, did i mention that we are staying at JJ house for this trip? LOL! Yes! We are going to stay over in his house. He said he lived in kampong which means this is my FIRST time staying in a kampong. LOL! Upon reaching his house, we choose our room and put down our things. Something i like about msian, they are really different from Singaporean. They simply treat it like their own house. One went shower, another one went to boil water so on and so forth. LOL! I really enjoyed staying with them, they treated you really like a family instead of an outsider. HAHAHA! A lot of new experiences in this trip, showering w/o the shower head, using water to pour on ourselves is the way of showering, having a kitchen which is much bigger than my own room in Singapore and last but not least, sleeping in the night w/o a need to lock the door, AS IN THE MAIN DOOR. WOW~!

Dinner at Lou Wong Restoran for their famous beansprout chicken rice. I think i preferred Singapore's chicken rice. HAHAHHA! The chicken was not really that tender as what others have described, beansprouts was a little too raw. Nothing much special actually. LOL! But still, anything with CHICKEN, i'll still love it! Being known as 鸡王 during this trip. LOL!

Dessert @ Tang Shui Jie (i gussed). With the courtesy of JJ's gf who brought us for dinner and dessert as JJ have something on. Though, we didn't have much conversation. But i can tell, she is a nice person. =D

I've another meal of my own for supper- KFC from ipoh. LOL! Trying to compare MELAKA OR IPOH KFC. LOL!

The day to Ipoh

The day to ipoh is also the day for William's farewell party. I was wondering if i should go for the dinner with my BIG HUGE backpack for my 3D2N trip to ipoh or should i just give it a miss. Feeling the lack sincerity, i decided to go for the dinner no matter what. LOL! Kind of careful while eating, im afraid i need toilet later on, avoided tea & coffee due to their diuretic effect. WE HAD OUR DINNER AT NANA THAI REST @FAR EAST. Foods there was delicious but yet is a little bit pricey. LOL! I LOST MY EZ-LINK before going to malaysia. daamnnnn~ MONEY FLY AWAY~~

Headed to meet Yvonne after dinner while waiting for ming at Chinatown, we made our way to golden mile tower! On a Thursday late night, i'm sitting outside golden mile tower with ming and yvonne waiting for our STARMART bus. 12mn at golden mile! MY FIRST TIME~! HAHHAHA! I'm ready for that 8hrs bus ride! Exciteddddd~ Toilet break was provided, something tat i've been looking forward to during the bus ride.

Reached Ipoh around 7+ in the morning! YAY! Calling our friend JJ to pick us up. He's damn cool can! W/o us calling, he is already at the bus terminal waiting for us! Having us missed our stop bcos the driver didnt tell us that Medan Gopeng bus terminal was closed and we have to tell him where we wanted him to drop us if not he will just drop us at their "selling ticket place". So our this dear friend, he have to drive behind the bus and see where the bus driver decided to drop us at. LOL! Basically, he was catching behind the bus and he was so glad that the bus driver was driving so slow that he still have the time to go to his car while he was already at gopeng bus terminal. LOL!

Luk Yu @ Chinatown Point

Meet up with YL! The last time we met was a year ago i suppose?! OMG! Srsly long!

Wanted to have our lunch at Ju Chun Yuan - They offer this lunch buffet at $18++ from 11am to 3.30pm. However, Yl have something on in the morning and we reached there almost 2pm yet they are full and have 3 table on waiting list. Which means, we have to wait for quite some time.

Thought of having high tea buffet ( dim sum buffet) at Yum Cha! However, while waiting for 3pm, we were walking/ shopping at Chinatown Point. Ended up we have our dim sum at Luk Yu Teahouse! Al-la Carte though. Can't really remember how much those dishes cost. But i try to recall la hor! LOL
These are the dishes that we ordered. Ohyea not forgetting the "Liu Sa Pao", the one being served to us was already cold - it's harden inside. LOL! Varieties of food are very limited. No porridge either. Only Dim Sum. =((  Ohyea - I like their service! Plates are regularly changed, tea are being fill-up fast even though we could do it ourselves.

BBQ @ Costa Sands Pasir ris!

I slept the whole sat afternoon in the chalet until SP came and we went cycling for an hr?! LOL! BBQ!! WHAT I've been looking forward to! started at 7pm! =PP Jessie reached! <3 Followed by Yl and lastly serene and edan who came rather late. LOL! All food was prepared by my mum! A little bit tasteless but yea! It's her effort after all. OVERALL ITS NICEEE OKAYYY! LOL! smurf theme = smurf everywhere!

Review of this chalet!
Cleanliness - 7/10 = floor is dirty
Environment - 7/10 = fridge not cold at all, will be better if chair with back support is provided. Water boiler not working. I like it that BBQ pit is just right outside the chalet with a rubbish bin nearby. Aircon belongs to 90s century which water drop sound. LOL! Kind of irriating to my family but not me! LOL, i slept  well!
Lighting - 6/10 = not bright enough, look dull

To choose downtown east vs pasir ris  = i'll vote for downtown.
