It last been quite some time since i last blogged. Yup yup! i'm back for a reason! Because i wanted to share this awesome place! It's called Oinkata Pte Ltd, it is actually buffet mookata at a very affordable price! It was my first time going there and definitely NOT the last time as well!

I get to know about this shop from some sharing i saw in facebook. So my friends and i decided to give it a try! There are many reasons why i decided to share this mookata buffet!

1) First, I message this shop through facebook to ask for nett price and prompt reply received.
2) Making reservation is easy, especially just a message away from facebook.
3) Not being able to find the shop upon reaching Dhoby. They are just a phone call away to assist u! 4) Quite a number of varieties of foods and taste awesome! Environment was good, very homely feel. 5) I felt that this shop need to be more recognized by others to boost their popularity. It is definitely a worth compared to other mookata i had in Singapore.

I do not quite understand with such delicious and well marinated food at such an affordable price, why are there only little customers? From the time 7.30pm to 11pm, only 4 tables of customers including us. i felt that there is a need to do more advertisements. By right, this place should be full house with such amazing deal!

This place is not easy to find! Here's the guide. From Dhoby Ghaut head towards Pomo, before reaching POMO, you will see School of the Arts, then walk further down to Pomo's 7-11, cross the road to the area full of bars. Walk along the bars (i mean right infront of the bars, in between the bars and the bar's sitting area), you will find an alley that guide you to this place! HOPE THIS IS A HELPFUL GUIDE! ENJOY THE MEAL!!

After many days of HL! Nakhon Kitchen!

After having almost one month of HL, i'm back to work which also means i'm good to leave home for meal! And guess where did i go?!

Nakhon kitchen at Pasir Panjang! I heard that the outlet at Bedok was nicer but i think this outlet was not bad too! I actually had some steamboat buffet before i went there for dinner, so i think the portion was just nice for us. But if i was to go there with empty stomach i think it's a bit too little even though we ordered quite a fair bit. Pricing wise pretty much affordable.

Trampoline park at Pandan Gardens

It have been so long since i last updated my blog. I realised blog required a lot attention, if not it will be as dead as my current blog. Same as for human beings uh!

Alright back to the topic, one random day, i decided to go for a jump at the trampoline park located at Pandan Gardens since it is so near my house! And i heard that jumping for half n hour helps to burn around 150 calories? Not that bad right! Just bounce and burn fats and enjoy!

And this is the pricing! 

 

They make it compulsory to get the socks! SO $2 MOREEE!

Basically i took the 60 minutes slot with the socks which cost me a total of $16. And not to worry about your belongings and etc, they have free lockers there! But try not to bring big bag, if not you will ended up be like my bf, having his suitcase kept with the staff there! HAHAHHA!

EXCITED!!

BUT WHO KNOWS, this clumsy girl = ME! ACTUALLY JUMP for ONLY 10MINS AND I SPRAINED MY ANKLE! CUI!!

BF carried me home and i can't even do any weigh-bearing movement, in another words, i can't even walk. FML. And i cried so badly because the pain was so intolerable! And can you imagine?! It so pain till i can't even sleep that i actually watched tv programmes all the way till morning. And i wanted to go down to clinic to see Dr the next day, but i realised i really can't walk at all. Bro decided to examine my leg and he concluded that i shall go to A&E to do a Xray as the swollen is way too serious. And true enough, Xray shows that i had a hairline fracture plus avulsion fracture. Sound so serious right! And i was given 7 days of HL and appt to see Ortho Dr. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT I WOULD NEVER HAVE THOUGHT OF~ Bounce, jump and that's it. LOL

THIS JONES BANDAGE IS MAKING MY LEG SUPER SMELLY. GOOD LUCK TO THE ORTHO DR THAT I WILL BE SEEING IN A FEW DAYS TIME. =.="

She got married today! It quite a busy day for me today. Post night shift, i think i had 2 hrs of sleep and i woke up to join BF and family for CNY lunch at Boon Lay Raja Restaurant! What a feast! IKR!

Headed to BF home after meal and slept all the way till my next appointment which is my friend's wedding! My colleague suppose to pick me up and bring me there but she was unwell so we took train instead and by the time we reached there was pretty late! But luckily we still managed to make it! HAHAHHA!

UPDATE- THEY HAVE CLOSED DOWN.

It's been years since i last had my meal there. But you see! YOLO! i think everyone should try their buffet. I won't say it's cheap but it's not that expensive either! At the price of $28.50++ ( Normal day/ Non peak), you get to eat sashimi, sushi, maki, teppan, soft shell crab, unagi, yakiniku and etc! WHERE TO FIND?!

I would say that i am rather a thrifty person, so i really count. I usually think that eating Japanese buffet is not a worth for me. Because i don't take sashimi and sushi but Hoshi buffet consist of lots of cooked food. SO I REALLY LIKE IT! LOL! Okayy lets count now - A plate of salmon sashimi is already like $15? And soft shell crab maybe $10, yakiniku $9.50 and etc. By eating all these as ALA-CARTE, it definitely will be more expensive than eating the buffet.

What's in girls mind?! (Relationship)

Just some random thoughts that happened to pop out from my mind. Not too sure if everyone like it. But yup, i guessed most of the girls do so? 25 THINGS TO SHARE for now.

1) It's always a good start with a message received from the loved ones once we opened our eyes, be it just a good morning.
2) Having whatapps last seen available makes us feel better if message took long to reply. But it sucks when last seen was after we send our messages. (Girls think a lot, mind that!)
3) We like it when you guys offer to send us home.
4) When we are tired or sad about something, a text of encouragement is better than nothing. But we hope to see you in a real, a hug would be much better.
5) We hope to be at the priority in your life.
6) When on bus or train, boarding / getting down - Let us stand/walk infront of you. Somewhat we feel more secured in this way.
7) We like it when in a crowd, you tried to pull us closer to you.
8) We like it when you hug us from the back.
9) We like it when we could just stay at home maybe making a simple meal, playing computer games, watching movies or dramas together, cuddling on the sofa.
10) We like it that we don't need to hold our hands everywhere we go, on and off holding of hands are so much more special.
11) We like it when you guys offer to carry our bags but often we reject because you have your own things to carry as well.
12) We like it when even how busy we are, we make some effort to meet up for a meal or what when we missed each other.
13) We like it when we could eat, play, talk, be ourselves just like how we behaved with our girlfriends infront of you and you not minding that.
14) We knew that guys have expectation on us, keep it low so that we could maintain.
15) Too touchy would be a turn-off.
16) Girls are very sensitive. We read into the sentence.
Example: Guys: You are really photogenic
In girls's mind: So in real, i don't look as good as in the photo? Hmmm...
17) Guys hate it when girls don't say out what's in their minds. But girls hate it when they have to say it out before the guy know what's went wrong.
18) Guys asked a lot to find out about us (The past and etc). We are interested to know about you too. It's just that we can't bring ourselves to ask you more, perhaps self revealing would be better.
19) We do not like it when you guys talk about how good other girls are, but we also do not like it when you don't talk about them at all. At least let us know this person existence. Insecure or not. Depends.
20) We like it when you intro us to your buddy, your family.
21) DO NOT TEXT/ REPLY US ONLY IN THE NIGHT when you are super free and what so ever -  suddenly remember. Ohya. Haven text gf today uh. Wonder how is she. We are not your part time entertainer. If we text you in the daytime, we expect a reply in the daytime as well.
22) We don't have to meet daily. But maybe at least a phone call every other day? And texts daily.
23) We have guy friends, you have girl friends, you do not want us to be too close with them and so do we.
24) We expect you to remember what we said before. We do not like it when we have to repeat ourselves over and over again. It just feel that your attention is not on us.
25) When we went on dutch for a meal, 50-50 would be so much better than giving the exact amount of your food, making it so calculative. =.="

I am lucky to have them!

Went out with GH on a Sat for roller blade @ ECP~ IT'S LIKE ALMOST 4 YEARS since i last touched my blade?! LOL! I really enjoyed myself very much though roller blade had become a tough chore for me after 4 years. i am never good at it! HAHAHAH! I won't say that i've know GH for long, but the way we talk gave me a feeling as if we are some old friends. Just someone that i know i can behave like myself, like don really have to bother about my image. Went for K dinner after, I think this is my first time trying out K dinner, I didn know they served Manhatten Fish Market food! Rather worth which such a dinner served. $30 for 4hrs of singing plus a dinner. NOT BAD! But the aircon in Kbox, srsly need to do something. It's so cold!

Ohya! I won the air fryer from work! Some lucky draw for the move-in party! THE 6TH PRIZE! YAY!!
I got an awesome daddy who is always there for me. I went to collect my prize and it's pretty big. I have so much difficulties in carrying it and my sweet daddy came to my workplace and carried it home for me! <3

Tried out the air fryer today! And it's works! Cant believed that technology had become so cool that cooking no longer need oil! *CLAP CLAP* Really amazed with it! My fries was so well done that it's not even oily like those we eat outside? Thanks my company!

Late post re: Hair colouring @ Heavenly Cutz

Blogged this rather late. It's been a mth after i re-dyed my hair~ And this time round, i didn't buy any vouchers from groupon or what. I decided to go back to Heavenly Cutz at Far East Plaza to have my hair coloured again. The freaking hair roots is killing me. LOL. Anyway, I've wrote a review on them before. Do check it out! And yup! This time round, i went with Yvonne. Making an appt at 7pm, upon reaching the shop, we could see them sitting there and was waiting for us with their "equipment" ready. So pleased by the effort of theirs. And once again, i am VERY HAPPY with the ending result of my hair colouring at such a SO WORTH IT PRICE for my hair length AND SUCH A PRETTY JOB DONE! Anyway, i was being recommended for ash brown again. HAHHAHA! But i do like the colour! There was this saying "A leopard never changes its spots", the boss remained to be naggy. Ooops! =P

Ohya, talking about this, he was telling me that, there was this blogger who wrote a review on them too, a rather bad one, googled and i found. ITS' REALLY BAD. LOL! All i could say is... I AM GLAD THAT the one who did my hair previously was not her, and this time round, by the boss. SO everything went on smoothly. Eh? i think she had alrdy left the salon. Did not see her during my last visit. Nevertheless, i will still go back to them for hair colouring.

I'M GOING BANGKOK AGAIN!

I'm so excited! REALLY! Going to be on leave next wk and was kind of sad cos i need to stay home to study for my coming exam. And i was telling my mum. I WANT TO GO BANGKOK! She asked me when? and i told her next wk! And guess what?! She said:" LETS GO!" So! i booked the air ticket for next wk to bkk!! YAY! SO steady! IKR! Though, she always say, i'm not looking forward to go bkk la, just wanted to see how's bkk but not really some place i wished to go and etc. BUT I KNOW SHE WILL LOVE IT! It would be just a short trip due to I NEED TO STUDY. LIFE~ WORK-LIFE BALANCE?

My friends said I AM CRAZY. Before exam and go overseas? LOL. I WILL BRING MY BOOK TO STUDY IN THE NIGHT. Just hope that i don't fall asleep! HAHAHHAHA!

Another family outing!

It's a Sunday again~ But this time round, im not OFF! i am working NIGHT shift! I need to sleep! BUT NO! I am so going River Safari with my family! Hahahaha! Using the corporate pass which entitled to 1 staff and 3 guest for the entry for free with boat ride! AWESOME TO THE MAX~ ikr! All we need to pay was just the carpark fees which cost us $8? If we would have to pay for the entrance fees of river safari and boat ride, it would have cost us $120++? SOOOOO WORTH IT CAN! Ooops. Sound so aunty. =.="

Actually, river safari should have combined with Singapore Zoo, to pay the similar amt for entrance fees, i think zoo worth it more, it's so much bigger as compared to river safari which can be completed within 2hrs? BUT I LOVE THE PANDAS! SO CUTE! SOOOOOOO BIG! HAHAHAHHA!

Busy BUSY BUSY to the MAX~

No joke! I have been really busy back then till i finished the last assignment of my sems and finally now waiting for exam! So i decided to spend my Sunday which i happened to be OFF with my family! And guess what we did?! Decided to be tourists in Singapore! HAHAHHAHA!

Having the cable car promotion for FOR POSB/ DBS, NTUC CARDHOLDERS & SINGTEL CUSTOMERS- We bought our tickets at only $15.60/pax! It's used to be $26 lo, which i doubt my mum will never want to waste the money on such a ride. But bcos of this promo, she was actually the one suggesting us to take cable car!

After the family outing, went to Ikea with friends! Going Ikea with the right person would be really good! We had so much fun in Ikea, all the way talking about beds, cupboard, mirror, kitchen and etc. Telling them how much i wanted my room to be like this and like that~ and them telling me how much they wanted their kitchen to be like this and like that in their hse. Oh yea, they are some chefs, that's why they LOVE kitchen so much. Hhahha! And me, rather lazy person, i LOVE my bedroom! HAHAHHA!

Dim Sum Buffet @ Swatow Seafood Restaurant

Rather contradict rite!? Seafood restaurant for dim sum buffet! But yes! They do serve buffet for high-tea and i personally think it is definitely a worth! But getting the person to bring the food from push cart to table was rather a tough task but of cos much better than Red Star at Chinatown area. LOL. But what's disappointing was, food such as paper wrapper chicken, xiao long bao all these was quite high in demand that when the server came with the pushcart, it's already empty. Waiting for another round took pretty long. In order not to leave the place with regrets, we tried our very best to get the waitress attention to get them to get the food for us. IT'S NOT EASY BUT NEVERTHELESS they are helpful.

Anyway we went on a sunday afternoon so is like $22.80++.. But still worth~

Pros
1) Waitress go to every table and distribute food.
2) Food taste awesome. I like the siew mai and liu sha bao! <3
3) Booking of table was easy. We book our table 2-3 days before.
4) Environment and ambience was good

Cons
1) Waiting time for food was long, spending my time waiting for food to appear infront of us and seeing the waitress walked past with empty pushcart...
2) Book a table before going is definitely a need! If not, good luck!

I bake again~

Yes! I bake again! With my friend this time round! At her hse! I'm just a small assistant. LOL. Go there to enjoy the final products! She wanted to bake for her colleague and i decided to go buy ingredients with her so joined her for the baking session! Awesome cupcakes! She is using the recipe of red velvet. Hmmm im not a cheese person so i actually didn't like the topping! HAHAHH!

Spending my off day to the fullest!

I've a date with my mum on a random day! Pretty interesting mummy who actually came to me and say: "let's go Gardens By the Bay! I've yet to go!" So of cos, not to disappoint her, we went! HAHAHHAH!

Then... the next time, she came to me: "Lets go JB for seafood!" And i was like what?! You serious?! And so we went... LOL! I actually went to google and see where can we have seafood lunch in JB and DA RANG! i FOUND THIS! Hiang Kee Seafood Restaurant (Malaysia, Johor Bahru) located at Jalan Keris, Taman Sri Tebrau (Hawker Centre) 80500 Johor Bahru, Malaysia. So i actually SS the address and map in my phone and upon reaching JB, i wanted to show that driver and guess what?! He wanted to hold on to my phone and see the photo clearly and the thing is, this action was done over the window of his cab. In my heart, i was like if i let go of my hands, i think the driver may have just drive away with it?! HOW?! he didnt seems to want to let go either! So... eventually, i let go. AND THANKS GOD. He didnt drive off with it! And offer a price at 10RM to the place, tried to bargain but fail. So yes. We took his cab. LOL!

Fat die me! First day of AL @ 1 market!

Even since school started, i've yet to really enjoy myself. Even now! Like my annual leave, i need to stay home to complete my assignment! I swear i used to think that studying is just go school only what. Shouldnt be a problem! I was so wrong! I totally forget about HOMEWORK! ASSIGNMENTS! so yea! Keep that in mind if u wan to study part time and work full time!

Anyway! Back to the topic! Buffet with colleague at Plaza Sing. Spent like $30/pax on a buffet lunch. I won't say it really worth the money of eating it. Or maybe i'm just too picky on food that i actually didn't eat most of it. Definitely didnt worth $30! HAHHAHAH! But nevertheless, we enjoyed each other companions.

I bake a cake today!

It's my daddy birthday! And i spent my whole day baking a rather kiddish cake but i did my best alrdy uh! It's my first time baking a real birthday cake! And i believed the next time will be much better! HAHAHAH! But nevertheless, my dad LOVE IT! He even took a selfie with it though i dont have it with me. HAHAHHA! He is a pretty cute daddy and entertain our whole family. Happy Birthday Daddy!

Went for Dim Sum breakfast today as a celebration of Daddy's Birthday! YUM CHA AT CHINATOWN! First time going there actually. Food there was rather nice and i think all of us enjoyed but !!! It's so expensive! Definitely worth going!

I hate school work!

I'm damn busy recently like srsly! I hate it! Mon and tue went for class after work and i was pretty sleepy in class, spending money to get myself so tired just for a cert. But i need it eh! Haiis. LIFE! Lots of assignment due on Sunday 9/2/14 which is today! And i've test tmr, not a test for my degree but work. I've course on Tuesday which i've to study beforehand of the course to get the cert as well. AHHHHHHHHHHHH~

Though i am like so busy, but what they said was work-life balance. So i promised my friend to accompany her to support her friend for the lion men promo at thomson plaza ytd. Since we are there, i was hoping to see Charlie Goh. LOL! But he wasn't there! HAHAHAH! So basically i went there just to accompany my friend, she chase, i chase, she run, i run. She squeeze into the crowd, i move away from the crowd. LOL. Finally the whole event ended at around 4 plus! AND IT'S MEAL TIME! <3 Walked to upper thomson for meal! Some photos to share. Hihi! Happy Lunar New Year! Very busy recently with school and work. School assignment is way too much. LOL or maybe im just so not used to assignment. Because of school, i've to arranged my roster and ended up i've to work on CNY eve. Sister is kind enough to give me morning shift so that i could have my reunion dinner with family. <3

As usual, reunion dinner at home with family. Steamboat + the grill thingy. Trying my best to stay awake for the night for the traditional thing which people said that kids should stay awake in the night till dawn and this will help their parents to live longer. It called "守夜". But i woke up at 5.30am on CNY eve for work. I SRSLY CANT STAY AWAKE! hahahah! it's miracle that i can last till 12mn. LOL.

As usual, uncle'hse then go home and rot. HAHHAHA! Went to watch The Lion Men with dad and mum for night movie. I think i preferred ABTM. TLM is kind of boring, just that it's filled with lots of laughter. If i know there is part 2 for TLM i may not have choose to watch this movie. =.="

Last minute shopping for CNY clothing!

Went for CNY clothes shopping! And guess what?! i BOUGHT a dress at ONLY 5 BUCKS! And yes! 5 BUCKS! Srsly, i didnt even see if i can fit and i went ahead and bought it! LOL! i tried the dress upon reaching home and damn it! I macham look like a clubber and the dress is like stick to my body. No shape still wear this kind of dress. I DARE NOT! OMGGG.

Bought another two dress which i'm quite satisfied with! Total spend 45 bucks! YAY! If only bkk is peaceful now, i guessed spending 45SGD there i can buy like 4 to 5 dress?! LOL! oHHYA! My friend and i walked pass this shopping mall which is decorated with those awesome stuffs and it look pretty! The shopping mall was just beside far east!
